          B&R provides precision machining and fabrication services to support projects from prototype through production. Our equipment, processes, and inspection practices are structured to deliver consistent, repeatable results across a wide range of materials, tolerances, and part complexities—day in and day out.

Material Cutting & Prep

          Material preparation is the foundation of all production—it sets the tone for everything that follows. By controlling how material enters the shop floor, we reduce variability, improve downstream efficiency, and create a consistent starting point for precision machining and fabrication.

Secondary Operations

  • Multi-step manufacturing workflows where parts require multiple setups or transitions between machining, welding, forming, or finishing.

Deburring & Surface Finishing

  • Manual finishing performed using shop-standard tools including hand deburring tools, countersinks, bench grinders with hard and soft (buffing) wheels, angle grinders for larger parts and weldments, and supplemental tools such as die grinders and surface-conditioning media.

Quality Control & Metrology Services

          Dimensional verification and inspection using precision instruments and computerized metrology systems to ensure parts meet customer specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.​

  • First Article Inspection (FAI)
    Full inspection and measurement of all required dimensions for the pertinent operation prior to production approval.

​

  • In-Process Quality Checks
    Hourly QC inspections performed by Quality Technicians on a daily rotation to monitor critical features and maintain process control.

​

  • Final 10% Inspection
    Ten percent (10%) of each order is dimensionally measured and visually inspected prior to shipment to verify conformity and consistency.

​

  • Climate-Controlled QC Lab
    Dedicated inspection environment supporting measurement stability and maintaining calibration accuracy.

​

  • Documentation & Traceability
    Inspection records and quality documentation maintained as required by job scope and customer specifications (available upon request).
